The Ferghana Valley is a fertile and densely populated region in Central Asia, divided between three states: Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. In the ancient cities located in the valley, many ancient monuments and ancient architectural structures have been preserved, attracting tourists from all over the world. There are international airports in the major centers of the region, hotels, entertainment centers and famous oriental bazaars await travelers.
Most of the cities and towns of the Ferghana Valley arose along the trade routes of the Great Silk Road. The cities of Andijan, Ferghana, Namangan, Margilan and Kokand (Uzbekistan), Osh (Kyrgyzstan), Khujand (Tajikistan) belong to the historical centers of culture, trade and crafts of the region.
